CCCC Second Highway Consultants Co. Ltd. (formerly Second Highway Survey and Design Institute of the Ministry of Communications), founded in 1964 with a registered capital of RMB 872 million, has obtained the national Class A Qualification in respects of engineering survey, design (highway, municipal engineering, building construction, light rail), consultation, project supervision, surveying and mapping, tendering agency, water and soil conservation, geological disaster prevention (prospecting, design, supervision and construction), landscape architecture, etc. It ranks as the best enterprise in the domestic industry of highway survey and design by its comprehensive strength, in addition to being enlisted among the "Top 60 Engineering Design Enterprises in China" for successive years and its standing as one of the wholly-owned subsidiaries of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), a member of Fortune Global 500.
